Trump and Harris will debate on Sept. 10, as Trump proposes two more dates

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump proposed three presidential debates across three  television networks in September, including an ABC News debate that he  previously declined to host after President Biden dropped out of  the race.
President Trump told reporters at his Florida resort Mar-a-Lago  on Thursday that his campaign had agreed to three debates hosted by Fox News, ABC News and NBC News. The Sept. 10 debate  hosted by ABC News is the only one that Harris' campaign has  agreed to attend. Harris confirmed in a post on X that they will meet at the ABC debate in September.
I heard that Donald Trump has finally agreed to debate me on September 10th.

I'm looking forward to it.

— Kamala Harris

President Trump announced last week that the ABC News debate scheduled for Sept. 10 had been "cancelled" and that he would instead hold a Fox News debate on Sept. 4.

But on Thursday, President Trump said the ABC News debates would return on Sept. 10, and a campaign adviser confirmed the date. The Fox News date given by Trump was Sept. 4, but Harris did not agree to that debate, and a Trump campaign adviser said the NBC News debate that Trump agreed to will take place on Sept. 25. An NBC spokesman said the network has discussed a range of dates with both campaigns, including Sept. 25.

"We have these three dates, and these networks are looking forward to this time and these dates with great anticipation," President Trump said at Mar-a-Lago. "So we have September 4th, September 10th and September 11th." 25. We spoke with the channel manager and everything has been confirmed except for a few minor details.

” The Harris campaign has not yet responded to a request for comment.

President Trump said the makeup and location of the audience has yet to be determined, adding that the “other side” Harris’ campaign “needs to agree to the terms.

” President Trump said, “I think we should have three debates.” President Trump also said CBS News will host the vice presidential debate next month, noting that vice presidential candidate Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance “has really taken a step forward. He’s doing a great job.” The Harris campaign had already agreed to the vice presidential debate. CBS News invited the Harris and Trump campaigns to attend the vice presidential and presidential debates, the first of which took place in late June, which led to Biden's eventual withdrawal from the race and Harris becoming the Democratic presidential nominee.
